Shrimati Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalaya committed to the cause of Women’s Education is one of the renowned Institutions of Central Nagpur. The college has earned a distinguished name amongst the fraternity of students having the vision of creating role model women for the society. The college runs under the guidance of Nagpur Shikshan Mandal, a dynamic Management adorned by illustrious personalities of Nagpur. The Institution is well known as a single faculty Arts college having a spectrum of optional subjects. Keeping pace with changing times, we have introduced new Career Oriented Certificate Courses for value addition to the B.A degree.

While laying stress on academics as a priority, the institution has drafted the roadmap of activities keeping in mind the Mission of all round development of the students. The college takes pride in claiming that many of the initiatives and activities made obligatory under NAAC exercise of accreditation were the integral part of the college calendar since the early years of its inception.

To mention specifically- the organization of enrichment programs, active working of Students’ Council and encouragement to Research activities are the inherent features of annual agenda of the College every year. Our dedicated faculty members are committed to shape skilled, competent, sincere and patriotic citizens for future. Well advanced planning, proper execution, sincere efforts and timely evaluation help our college to achieve these goals and objectives.

The institution is run on a transparent philosophy of ‘education for all’ without any social and economical barriers. We at Binzani believe in practicing what we say so our faculty members donate and collect a fund each year to help the economically deprived students to avail the facility of Higher education. The college can thus provide admissions to each and every student at subsidized fees. We at Binzani believe in the motto that education is not just for job Seeking but to create an individual who can ignite the lamp of knowledge and humanity in others.

Innovation is the breath of teaching, and the faculty members are inspired to make their classrooms a laboratory for implementing their innovative ideas. The IQAC cell of the college believes in applied research and so it motivates the staff members to use their research for the benefit of student. The students and staff are engaged in research projects to permeate the importance of research amongst our students. Curriculum is the guiding force for lighting the path of success for university examination. But we do not believe in restricting ourselves within the stranglehold of the curriculum. Many co-curricular activities are designed at classroom level to enhance the substance of the syllabus. The syllabus is decided by our affiliating University i.e. RTM Nagpur University. But our eminent faculty members are on the Board of studies of various subjects which are instrumental in updating the syllabus. Some Faculty members are also on the editorial board of prescribed text books of RTM Nagpur University. The college already has two self financed courses like Communicative English and Fashion Designing. Fashion Designing is a very popular subject amongst our students as it helps them to begin some entrepreneurial enterprise. Many workshops, seminars, lectures and competitions are organized to make the students aware about the related events in their respective subjects.

Educational excellence and Quality sustenance are the twin guiding principles in our planning and execution strategies. Adhering to these tenets, we have marched ahead relentlessly to accomplish the tangible goals laid down on the basis of our constant brainstorming and the guidance received from NAAC Peer Team . This sincerity and commitment has been recognized and acknowledged by NAAC by granting us B++ grade by NAAC Peer Team in the third cycle of NAAC with a CGPA score of 2.83.
