The Building of Smt Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalaya situated in Mahel Nagpur and which has acquired historical heritage is of Bhonsale reign. In front of Palace of Shriment maharani Bakabai Bhonsale who became a much controversial personality after the demise of Raghuji Bhonsale - II (Today's Babasaheb Dhanwate Nagar Vidyalaya), there is a mansion of Chandoji Bhonsale which is today's Smt Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalaya. The crowning ceremony of king Parsoji Bhonsale (Son of Raghuji - II) was held on 14th April 1816. In the history of Nagpur Bhosale reign, there is a special mention of Chandoji Bhonsale. As it has been recognised as a historical heritage, legally no changes can be done in the infrastructure of the college building. So it is our prime duty to preserve this historical heritage site.
