The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government sector public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Mahatma Gandhi's centenary year in 1969.
Smt.Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalaya has an active NSS Cell of 100 students. Programmes like cleanliness drives, Tree Plantation programmes, Blood Donation camps, Health check-up camps for students and society are held in each academic session to sensitise the students about the varied social problems and their solutions. Dr Shubhangi Kukekar is the NSS Cell In -charge for the session 2024-25.
 

Eligibility Criteria
  •  Students must clear their class 12 board exam from a recognized board.
  •  They must secure a minimum of 40% aggregate in class 10 and class 12 exams. 5% relaxation in the cut-off marks for admission would be given to students from SC / ST backgrounds.
  • How to Apply?
  •  The desirous student should visit the college and buy the prospectus and form
  •   They should read the college prospectus closely
  •  The student will interact with the team of counsellors for selection of subjects and clarification of queries regarding the college,timings,academics etc.
  •  After they finalize their decision of taking admission,they will visit the university registration counter provided by the institution on the campus to facilitate the admission and register their names online after paying the due university registration fees and service charge.
  •   After registration,they will visit the admission counter and after the committee of staff members scrutinize their forms and necessary attached documents,either in original or self-attested true copies they will submit the duly filled forms with the admission committee and wait for the declaration of lists .
  •   After their names appear in the list of 'to be admitted students',the student will visit the college and pay the fees and finalize her admission
  •   She will preserve the original receipt of fees properly.
  •   She should also procure her I-Card and Library card on the same day of admission.
Admission Cancellation
  •  For the cancellation of admission, a candidate has to submit an application duly signed by her and counter signed by her parent/guardian .For that,the candidate should have taken admission by paying the necessary fees and should have submitted original certificates before she applied for cancellation.
  •   Also the candidate has to submit the original fee receipt & photocopy of “No-Due” .
  •   During the admission process,in case, a candidate fails to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit, the admission shall be treated as canceled.The admission will be finalized only after the submission of necessary documents in original within stipulated time.
  •   The institution will not refund the fees paid against cancellation of admission.
